Method
- Collection
- The posts the 266 public channels on the collection list made in the last 30 days are read through Telegram's public web preview (t.me/s). Each forwarded post is checked for its original channel. Refreshed once a week.
- Channels on the map
- Channels outside the list appear only when at least three listed channels forwarded them, and their recent posts are read too. Channels with no posts in the period, channels with clearly more stock posts than crypto posts, and company channels such as exchange and project notices, news services, brokers and alert bots are left out.
- Communities
- Each channel's main source is the Korean channel it forwards most (only with at least 2 posts and 5% of all its posts). Following main sources to the end gives the lead channel; channels linked to the same lead channel are one community. Foreign-language channels are not counted as main sources, and forwards are counted only between Korean channels.
- Land area
- Follows √(subscribers × average views). It shrinks further when the view rate is below the median of the listed channels, and for channels with few posts in 30 days the average views are pulled towards that median.
- Reading the map
- Channels that forward each other more sit closer. Channels on the same side share similar colours, and towards the centre the colours blend because those channels link several groups. Dark lines are community borders; the flag marks KDP's own channel (무사시의 코인 베기).
